Programs
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Reading is the
basis for learning - not only formal education programs, but in all life
situations. It is not just a matter of knowing words or sounds. It
is a living, vibrant process that involves thinking and comprehending. It
involves the ability to determine what is important in the material being read
and what significance this may have for past and future actions. We are
able to offer the student an individual program designed to enhance their
comprehension, study skills, test taking skills, and help to enhance their
possibilities of success on college boards and in later studies. Our
educational goals focus on the areas of comprehension, spelling and vocabulary
while leads to an increase in confidence and a genuine feeling of self-worth.
All classes are held at the Akron Education Campus, 700 Ghent Road,
