Akron Education Campus Pre-School
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
We
at the Akron Education Campus bring a unique perspective to the area of
pre-school/early childhood education. Since we have had the opportunity over the years to work with students and adults of all ages - some
of whom were very successful and some that were not - we are aware of traits and
characteristics which make learning a pleasant and satisfying experience.
It is our desire to help the pre-school child acquire these traits so that
he/she may have a successful, thinking education. It is our belief that two of the most critical factors
contributing to a student's success in school are embodied in "following
directions" and "physical (often visual) readiness" for learning. Because
of our awareness of this, we have made special effort to include these in your
child's program. Some children experience difficulty in visual tracking, fusing
and making connections which often inhibits learning to read. We
have incorporated specific activities and experiences into your child's play
which will increase and enhance the development of these skills. Programs are available for children three (3) to
five (5) years of age. All children admitted to the program
must be "potty" trained.EXTENDED CARE IS AVAILABLE TO PRE-SCHOOL STUDENTS!!! SEE INFORMATION BELOW

CLASS SCHEDULE
The pre-School will start on Wednesday, August 27, 2008. The Pre-School schedule will follow that of Revere LSD in terms of scheduled class days.

The Akron Education Campus Pre-School will offer EXTENDED CARE to the families' of our students. The schedule for this program is as follows:

There is a $50 non-refundable registration fee due with the registration. All fees must be pre-paid one month in advance.
EXTENDED CARE
The cost for EXTENDED CARE is $3.00 per hour.
