PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

(For Children Pre-School Age through Grade 5)

Ever  had one of "those" days!

In short, as parents, you need to be at work, and sometimes there is no one to care for your child. 

The AKRON EDUCATION CAMPUS can provide you with peace of mind in these circumstances.  We have on staff highly qualified educators who will provide you with the assurance necessary in these times of need.

This IS NOT a TV babysitting program.  Children will be actively participating in programs promoting and furthering the education of the "whole child".  All programs at the AKRON EDUCATION CAMPUS are designed to teach critical thinking and reasoning skills which help give students a feeling of self-worth.  These programs include:

Math Enrichment                 Reading Enrichment               Homework Help               Social/Emotional Development

Physical activity is also an integral part of each day through participation in the following activities (programs):

** Gym Active (Basketball, Short Course Tennis and Toss and Catch)

All classes are held at the Akron Education Campus, 700 Ghent Road, Akron, Ohio  44333

CLASS SCHEDULE

Please call between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM to register for a space on the morning that care is needed.  Care begins at 7:30 AM and runs until 6:00 PM (Monday through Friday).  Spaces will be offered on a first-call, first-served basis.

PROGRAM FEES

The cost per child is $6.00 per hour or $50.00 per day.  A sack lunch (with the child's name on it) and a beverage must be provided by the parent.  Refrigeration is available.  Price for children already enrolled in any AKRON EDUCATION CAMPUS program or pre-registered and prepaid for this program is $5.00 per hour or $35.00 per day.
