PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
One of the concepts that has been
central to the Akron Education Campus from its founding is providing
individualized instruction in mathematics skills (both in terms of general
mathematics and mathematics for specific vocations). Since these are
individual programs, our plan will be to meet the goals specified by the
learners themselves. We are
able to offer the student an individual program designed to enhance their
understanding (not just rote memory) of basic mathematical skills and processes,
problem-solving skills, comprehension, study skills, test taking skills, and help to enhance their
possibilities of success on college boards and in later studies.
All classes are held at the Akron Education Campus, 700 Ghent Road,
Akron, Ohio 44333
For more information, please call

CLASS SCHEDULE
The assessment interview and initial testing is
scheduled by appointment. Individual sessions (usually scheduled twice per
week) are then scheduled to meet the needs of the learner. These sessions
are typically 1/2 hour long.
