PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Chinese language and culture represent a special learning opportunity for Americans.  In many instances, Chinese children have been welcomed in American families and Chinese families have relocated to the United States.  We are just starting to realize the tremendous business opportunities that exist by strengthening ties with the Chinese people.  Knowledge of the language and culture are essential to promoting improved relations.   In addition to the primary focus on language skills, additional instruction will be provided in Chinese cooking and crafts.

All classes are held at the Akron Education Campus, 700 Ghent Road, Akron, Ohio  44333

PROGRAM FEES

SCHEDULE AGE GROUP COSTS
WINTER Parent/Child Parent & Child - $120 (prepaid) for 8-session program or $20 per session
Additional Parent or Child - $80 (prepaid) or $15 per session
School Age & Adult Beginners $80 (prepaid) for 8-session program
$15 for individual session
Individual Instruction - $40 per 1 hour session
*SUMMER Parent/Child Parent & Child - $178 (prepaid) for week-long program or $43 per session
Additional Parent or Child - $83 (prepaid) or $23 per session
School Age & Adult Beginner $153 (prepaid) for week-long program
$43 for individual session

* Program fees include a $3.00 craft fee.
